Samsung has traditionally released new phones during the fall and we expect no deviation from this. The announcement may come as early as August, but sources indicate an early September release date.

Galaxy Note 4 Specs

Industry insiders state two versions of the Galaxy Note 4 will be released. One will be a curved screen to select markets, and the flat screen for mass markets. Additional specs include:

  • Bigger screen, reportedly 5.7 or 6-inches.
  • Enhanced Stylus pen to use handwriting to unlock phone, and even write a name to call a contact.
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor - the speeds are expected to be pretty intense.
  • Reportedly, due to the processor, it may support a 4K resolution, a first for smartphones if the rumor is true.
  • Dust-proof, and water resistant.
  • A patent displayed the curved version with buttons running along the side to reduce storage on the screen.
  • While reports previously indicated a flexible screen, industry insiders show hesitation, and stated a curved screen is more likely.
  • Samsung has personally hinted they are working actively on a 64-bit chip right now, and that may find its way into the Galaxy Note 4.
  • RAM is expected to bump up to 4GB.
  • The camera, per sources, is receiving a makeover, and consumers can expect a 20-megapixel sensor. Other sources describe a 16-megapixel camera, with a 2-megapixel front facing camera.

The rumors for the Galaxy Note 4 continuously heat up. Bigger is better for many consumers, and it seems Samsung is willing to fulfill the demand, wholly.
