Apple iOS 8 Issues Continue Include WiFi iMessage and Sluggish Response
Nothing like camping out for two days, waiting in line, spending hundreds of dollars, powering on your new iPhone 6 and become frustrated. Did consumer demand force Apple testers to unhappily push out an operating system that was less than stellar? Consumers have reported issues from Bluetooth connectivity with their vehicle, WiFi access interruptions, sluggish responses and iMessage issues. When some users resorted to backing up their data and doing a Master Reset, an ugly surprise remained on the other side.
Data saved to the iCloud Drive was deleted.
The affliction of problems have left less than impressive reviews on the newest iPhone 6 versions, and have upset dedicated consumers of the brand. For one iPhone user, they stated within 24 hours after the reset, their phone once again started behaving badly.
When it comes to the WiFi issues, iPhone Hacks offered some solutions from customizing DNS settings, or disabling the WiFi networking services.
The issue alone is not for iPhone 6 or 6 Plus, it’s also happening for iPhone 5/c/s users who are reporting status bar issues, and landscape mode not responding, similar problems have hit the iPad. The list of continued complaints have extended to Twitter, where users are updating the upsetting issues experienced.
At this point users are waiting for Apple to release a non-buggy update to patch up the issues. iOS 8.1 is currently undergoing testing, but there is good news. Early testing indicates the update does fix the issues reported. Apple will announce a future date soon enough regarding the release. Hopefully, sooner than later to maintain consumer trust.
