Pennsylvania 8 Year Old Mentally Disabled Boy Dead in Home for Days

Sad news is stemming from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania regarding the body of an 8-year-old boy. Jarrod Tutko Jr.’s body was found decomposing on the third floor of his home. It was not an abandoned home, rather his own mother stated she did not know he was dead until the smell reached her. That is when her husband, Jarrod Tutko Sr. came forward and stated the boy died. No information has been released on the cause of death of Tutko Jr., but an autopsy has been scheduled for Monday.

Kimberly Tutko, the mother of the six children in her home states her husband was the primary caregiver of their mentally disabled son. Reportedly, Tutko Sr. was aware his son had died, and only told his wife when the smell of the decomposing body became too strong to ignore. Police were called to the home on Friday evening, where neighbors angrily lashed out at both parents.
