Keller Williams Real Estate Agents Awesomely Tip Pizza Man $2,084 (Video)

It always is a pleasure to report fantastic news that will lift anyone’s spirits. In Michigan, Keller Williams was holding their regional conference at the Sheraton Hotel and decided to order for pizza from Pizza House in Ann Arbor, on Thursday. As they did, they gathered ways to say thank you to the extraordinarily lucky delivery guy, named Rob. He walked into the agency and passed over the pizza, but he never expected what the real estate agents would gave back.

Brian LeFevre, Pizza House’s manager had no idea what was going to happen. After all he fielded the calls, took down the orders and notified the next delivery guy to prepare for shipment.

When Rob walked into the conference, a room awaited him, he passed the pizza over and went to turn when the emcee stopped him. He was told the service industry is filled with people who many times may go unappreciated. The company wanted to take a moment and say to one of those industry service workers, “we notice you and we appreciate you.” The emcee passed him six winning lottery tickets “for $6” drawing chuckles. But, then the emcee continue and passe him a $25 Visa card and more importantly a “cup of cash” totaling $2,048 as a gift to the astounded pizza man.

Rob was completely bowled over and the moment is an absolute “Kodak” moment. In addition to the money, he received a box of “appreciation” notes.

A rare moment bestowed by a company, that more than likely is still being affected from the 2008 housing collapse, stopped, paused and remembered the industry service workers that carry the foundation of America.

It was a testament of appreciation and one hopefully other companies and individuals remember. Service workers amount to approximately 112 million Americans across the country. From retail, fast food, child care services and so many more companies, a larger amount of the population provides services.

Much too often these workers are overworked, and underpaid. Hats off to Keller Williams for recognizing the strong men and women behind the service industry. And, thank you to the “Rob” workforce that keeps this country moving.
