Netflix is getting ready to ax over a dozen movies and television shows as it looks to get rid of the old, and enter the new. In addition to know what to watch before February 1st, Netflix was thrilled to announce The Interview will soon be available on the streaming giant. Expect to get up close and personal with this shadowed movie on January 24. Netflix announced it will be exclusive to Netflix and offered to both Canadian and American subscriers. The streaming giant has made prolific moves from its olden days of shipping DVDs.
In addition to becoming a mecca of movies and television shows, Netflix is also promoting their first feature film, and it is expected to stream and hit IMAX screens across the country. The movie, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon II: The Green Destiny is sure to draw in the crowds.

The success of those exclusive features promote the idea that Netflix will do incredibly well. For those who want to know how well, Netflix’s stock is booming. Shares in after-hours trading showed a growth of 13 percent, on Tuesday. That basically kicked Netflix’s own estimates in the bum. In the last quarter of 2014, the streaming giant added more than 4 million new subscribers. It could also be in part to the aggressive show of growth Netflix has made in nearly 50 countries.
