The mentioning of the classic 1982 movie starring Dolly Pardon was no misstep in the title. Tallywackers is causing viral notice because of the reverse appeal. Instead of attractive young women walking around in scantily clad skirts, and bosom teasing blouses - one restaurant is switching that dynamic on its head. No pun intended.
Coming soon to Dallas, Texas, Tallywackers is a venue offering spirits, food and fun. Taking a chapter from Hooters, the newest body baring dining spot is looking to create a change in the wait staff.
Granted, other restaurants have tried the theory of ripped abs exposed, but many of those ventures failed. After all, who would enjoy seeing attractive, muscled men walking around in nothing more than package-enhancing spandex shorts? It seems, per the Tallywacker’s Facebook page, more than 10,000 people are interested.
The restuarant is touting an all-encompassing welcome to all audience types that may enjoy being served with a smoldering smile, straight off the cover of any romance book.
Back to The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, one of the infamous quotes from the movie includes Deputy Fred visiting the farm to be greeted with “Hey, Deputy Fred!” “Morning girls!” ” How’s your tallywacker hangin’?” Did the restaurant feel a sense of inspiration from this unconventional musical? Whatever the case, the name, the line-up of scantily clad waiters is bringing viral interest across the country.
While the menu has not been publicly released, nor the official release date, the owners are releasing morsels to satiate the ravenous viewer. Check out the pictures on the bar’s Facebook page.
With movies like Magic Mike and 50 Shades of Gray, the growing demand to see “more men, more men,” is finally being heard.
