Casper Smart obviously remains a staple in Jennifer Lopez’s life. Last summer the heat between the Latina sensation and her former back-up dancer was smothering. That is until rumors leaked that Casper was sexting a transsexual. Friends laughed off the accusations but did admit that Casper had a hankering for the ladies. A few months back TMZ, the gossip mag in the know, reported Casper and JLo never broke up. Reportedly, the couple split for a few weeks to bring interest to her movie, Boy Next Door, with co-star Ryan Guzman.
That seems closer to the truth, because Casper has never been too far from JLo. Following their reported split, the couple was seen out in public where JLo faded into the car that Casper was driving.
The two remained friendly, and it appears now they are tossing back the hidden cover of their relationship. JLo is starring in a new drama series called Shades of Blue. JLo will be playing Harlee McCord, and additional stars will be slated to appear in the series including Ray Liotta, Drea de Matteo and Warren Kole. The storyline will focus on the life of a single mother who goes undercover for the FBI.
This past week while on set of her new show, JLo was seen wrapped in a puffy coat walking alongside 28-year-old Casper. The two were holding hands as they walked around backstage. It appears those sexting rumors involving models Sofie Vissa and Xristina Marie are a thing of the past.
In a recent appearance on the Ellen show, Lopez admitted that she was “kind of” single and kind of not. It appears the reason for her lukewarm response is Casper.
Shades of Blue is expected to air later this year. Ryan Seacrest and JLo are also executive producers on the show written by Adi Hasak. Lopez’s acting credits are pretty limited, but she has gained traction behind hit shows like The Fosters.
Could the two be holding hands to draw attention to the new show coming up, or has love found reunited them?
