Regardless someone is disabled or not, should the entertainer who was paid to sing make demands on a crowd? That is something ole’ “Yeezus” did when he berated the crowd for not standing up. The appointed maker of the God-complex faced the crowd and told them he couldn’t “do the rest” of his show unless everyone was standing. When some people didn’t stand, Kanye turned on the group bullying mentality and told concert-goers to scour their neighbor and make sure they were standing. There were some fans who could not stand up, and instead of letting it go, Kayne decided to jolt the jerk factor to overdrive.
One fan physically removed his prosthetic limb and waved it in the air proving to the egocentric singer he was indeed handicapped. As far the second fan? Kayne sent his bodyguard to do some investigating.
Prior to sending down the muscle to intimidate the crowd, Kanye offered an ultimatum for the fans to either stand up or get removed. From a concert they paid for. The bodyguard confirmed that even disabled people attend concerts, and told Kanye the fan was indeed in a wheelchair, and could not stand up.
Disgusted yet?
If not, you should be. The video was captured by another fan that may or may not be handicapped, that has not been confirmed by Kayne’s bodyguard (sarcasm intended). In the four minute video, Kanye stated he was serious about not starting to sing until everyone was standing up.
Boos could be heard, as the crowd started chanting “stand up.” Soon after Kayne announced two people “refuse” to stand up. There was a reason for it, though. One the God wanna-be never considered, until he humiliated the fans openly and got the crowd geared.
But hey! Kanye did reassure if the fan was in a wheelchair “it’s fine.” Thanks, Kanye, your approval is greatly appreciated.
Perhaps, the disabled fans considering future concerts should wonder if it’s worth spending any money on a performer who doesn’t have a second thought outside of his own need to be worshiped.
