Warning: possible spoilers ahead! Please do not read further if you do not wish to know the probable outcome of the show! As the final episode of Married at First Sight season two approaches, fans are eagerly awaiting the results from the “social experiment” that pairs two strangers who meet for the very first time at the altar. While the clock ticks down, viewers are keeping themselves busy, and numbing the pain of losing season two, by going all-out on the rumor mill, which is in full swing on social media as well as on online forums.
Rumors about the show range from the outlandish to the possibly credible. One rumor that appears as though it could be true is that Sean Varricchio and Davina Kullar decided to get a divorce. This information was reportedly leaked by the network itself when someone who may now be fired allegedly posted the following:
The image above seems to reveal the show’s outcome, but it is rather questionable. Firstly, there are grammatical mistakes throughout, which is a red flag. Either the image is fake or the person who wrote the information needs to go back to elementary school for some writing lessons!
It is also highly dubious because it states “Season 2/Episode 1.” This would not indeed be the correct label, as the show described appears to be a six month follow up, and not episode one of the second season.
The leak was reported by several gossip rags, who stated that this information was later removed from the internet. Despite the iffy nature of the screen shot above, many feel that Davina and Sean have actually divorced. Davina has made it clear on social media that she was unhappy and extremely frustrated during the experiment. She has been re-tweeting many posts that indicate she has “every right to be angry,” and that Sean might not have had good intentions from the beginning. More on that in an upcoming article, so stay tuned!
Of course, viewers will not know for sure whether Davina and Sean have stayed together until the final episode of Married at First Sight airs on Tuesday night. Other rumors swirling around state that Jessica Castro and Ryan De Nino stayed together at the six week check in, but that they have since split up. With regard to Jaclyn Methuen and Ryan Ranellone, the word on the street seems to imply that they are still together at the six month mark.
Recently, there has been buzz about Davina getting upset during the filming of a reunion show. She sent a tweet to the host telling him he never informed her about who the interview was with. Jessica Castro then replied, asking the host of the show if he would blame Davina for “running”:
Does this tweet indicate that Davina may have stormed off the show before, during, or right after after the interview? Only time will tell. Of course, the message boards, social media sites and forums have been on fire with speculation that Davina may have “run” because Sean was there.
In synthesizing all of this information, it is important to remember that social media posts and rumors may tell a true story, or they may not. It remains possible that all of the show participants are pulling the wool over our eyes and trying to trick the audience with regard to the outcome. As with any speculative assumptions, it is important to remember the old saying: “take it with a grain of salt.”
The Married at First Sight season two finale airs on Tuesday, June 9, at 9:00 p.m. EST.
