Michelle Duggar is begging her fans to sign a counter petition to save her reality TV show 19 Kids and Counting. The Hollywood Gossip reports that Michelle has posted her plea on Facebook, asking fans to sign the petition at ipetitions.com. The petition states that the Duggars are “under attack” from what they seem to think are gay meanies who do not have “the right to redefine marriage,” according to Michelle. The petition is a response to the petition on Change.org which calls for the cancellation of the Duggars’ dumb, gross show on the grounds that the Duggars are a bunch of nasty homophobes. The Duggars say they are “under attack” from the gay community.
This is just the latest in a series of ignorant statements by members of the Duggar family. When they are not busy making out with each other to show the world how awesome heterosexual fundamentalist Baptist passion is and creepily controlling women, they spend their time denigrating gays and transgender folk by trying to destroy those groups’ civil rights.
Michelle came under fire recently for reportedly participating in a robo call asking for people to vote to strike down a law that would prevent business owners from discrimination. The law would prohibit companies from discriminating against transgender people, and Michelle does not like that one bit, because she is a fear-mongering, homophobic, transphobic religious lunatic who is so dumb it is a miracle she can function on a day to day basis.
The Duggars, including husband Jim Bob and their children seem set on letting their own personal, private religious beliefs, based on a book that is thousands of years old and for which there is no supporting evidence, compel them to try and interfere with gay people’s civil rights. They have been vocally homophobic and even banned gay couples from their weird “kissing” page on Facebook.
Why can the Duggars not mind their own damn business and let others mind theirs? Do they not have lots of other things to worry about, such as continually popping out screaming, genetically backward infants repeatedly, with no concern for the earth’s environment? Surely their constant breeding must distract them from nosing into other people’s private affairs?
Apparently not. It seems the Duggars will continue on with their homophobic ways. What a pity. Michelle could really benefit from a gay male stylist doing something with that dreadful hair, which has been proven to have jumped out of the 1980s, into a time machine and then right onto Michelle’s dingbat head. This is fact because it is written down. You know, just like how the Bible is fact.
