Apple Will Equip iPhone 6 With NFC Technology

According to a publication of the BrightWire edition, Apple plans to introduce NFC- function for mobile payments for the iPhone 6. It is claimed that the company has signed an agreement with China UnionPay payment system for integration with the Passbook service in all countries.

There have also been numerous reports that Apple is preparing the development of a new mobile payment system that will be connected to the technology for identification - Touch ID, already used in the well-known iPhone 5s. Its implementation in the iPhone 6 has been expected and it will also be implemented in the new generation of the iPad tablet. It is quite likely for the company to integrate the NFC technology and Touch ID in the Home button. A patent for a similar scheme has already been submitted by the company in September last year. It is also being reported that the two companies will start developing a payment system for purchasing from the Apple Store.

The deployment of the NFC technology (Near Field Communication) in iPhone 6 was not anticipated by many who have kept up to date with Apple’s rollouts. The remarkable fact is, however, that the analyst at KGI Securities Ming - Chi Kuo, predicted last month that along with many other features, Apple will implement an NFC chip in its next generation of the iPhone.

According to rumors, Apple will present this year’s 4.7 and 5.5 -inch version of the iPhone 6. Moreover, according to recent data, the 4.7 -inch version of the new model will be launched before its older brother. It is expected that in addition to the larger display, the new product will have a more slender hull, with the new and improved A8 processor and an improved camera with image stabilization. According to other reports, the company is in talks with mobile operators to increase the price of the new smartphone by a significant $100.
